If you’re a redhead and would like to take
advantage of your beautiful hair color this Halloween, then dress up as the
beautiful, bewitching Poison Ivy. This fatal redhead is one of Batman’s most
famous enemies and definitely one of the sexiest villains of all time. If
you’re not a natural redhead but would still like to dress up as her, you can
just dye your hair bright red, don the skimpy green outfit and seduce
everyone’s pants off during your Halloween party.
Things you will need:
- Green leotard
- Green tights
- Lots of fake leaves
- Needle and green thread
- Dark green boots
- Red hair color
- Brown eyeliner, green and orange makeup, green mascara
- Bright red lipstick
- Fake eyelashes
- Long, green gloves
Step 1: To get that living plant look, you have to sew
fake leaves on your green leotard. Using needle and green thread, attach the
fakes leaves all over the bodice, making it as “leafy” as possible. You can add
hot glue to make the leaves more securely attached. Just make sure not to let
the hot glue burn the fabric.
Step 2: You can also put some leaves on your green
tights using the needle and thread. You don’t need to put as much leaves here,
since you need to show legs as well. Put a few pieces and make them snake up
your thighs.
Step 3: The rest of the outfit is green, so if you are
having a hard time finding green boots and gloves, you can simply dye them. Gloves
will be easy to color with ordinary dye. Choose long gloves that reach your
elbows at least. As for the boots, try to find one in thrift shops or buy a
non-green pair and just have them dyed. It should not cost you much.
Step 4: Red hair is a MUST. If you’re not a redhead,
you should color your hair at least temporarily. Poison Ivy’s hair is shocking,
bright red. You won’t have a problem finding the right color at stores. Get one
that washes off immediately as soon as you take a shower. You don’t want to be
stuck with flaming red hair for weeks.
Once your hair is colored, use hot rollers or
curling iron to create sexy, voluptuous waves on your mane.
Step 5: Poison Ivy has dramatic makeup to match her
bright outfit. Download a picture of Poison Ivy from the net to get a good idea
of her makeup. Using brown eyeliner, draw the necessary patterns around the eye
area then fill them up using green and orange eyeshadow. Use glittery eyeshadow
for more drama. You can also use glitter powder all over your face.
Your lashes should be thick and flirtatious. Use
fake eyelashes if you must. If not, just use green mascara to coat your natural
lashes thoroughly then curl them.
Step 6: Poison Ivy’s most lethal feature? Her bright
red lips. Put on bright red or scarlet lipstick then a generous amount of lip
gloss. You can also try using red lipstick with glitter on them.
