as Amy Winehouse. The British soul singer is known not only for her distinctive
voice, but also for her beehive hairdo, makeup, and crazy outfits. This is a very
easy costume to make, and instantly recognizable! Amy Winehouse usually wears a
tank top and jeans, little dresses, or just underwear. We will try the tank top

Step 1: Clothes
are the easiest part in the Amy Winehouse costume. She is usually seen dressed
carelessly in tank tops that reveal much of her chest, matched with ripped
jeans or a very short pair of shorts. Choose a low-cut top that reveals your
bra. Wear a push-up bra underneath the top to achieve that full cleavage look.
Step 2: The
singer has a thing for ballet flats. She was photographed dozens of times
wearing a dirty pair of ballet flats, no matter what outfit she was wearing.
She wears the flats with dresses or jeans. Finding a pair of ballet flats
should be easy, and so is making them look dirty.
Step 3: Now for
the hair. Getting Amy’s signature beehive look is an absolute must. If you have
very long black hair, you can gather the top half into a large ball on top of
your head. You will need loads of hairspray to maintain the hairdo.

with generous amounts of hair. The wig shop can do the beehive for you.
Step 4: Amy
Winehouse is all about heavy makeup, no matter what time of day it is. This
means dramatic eye makeup with lots of eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. Get her
signature eye makeup, which resembles Cleopatra’s, by putting black liquid
eyeliner on the upper eyelids and extending it towards the corner of the eye.
You can use any color of lipstick, but make it look very Amy
Winehouse by smudging it a bit.
Step 5: Get the
singer's dirty, bad girl look by applying fake tattoos all over your body. You
can check out her pictures on the internet to know the exact location of her
tattoos. Amy is known for showing up in public sporting bruises in various
parts of her body. Using black makeup, apply fake bruises on your arms and
chest.
Step 6: Amy does
not wear much jewelry, but she is often photographed wearing a pair of hoop
earrings. Any type of hoop earrings will do, it does not have to match your
outfit.
Step 7: Now that
you're all dressed, arrive at the party smoking a cigarette and holding a
