It's no surprise that Halloween is our favorite time of the year. We love dressing up in outlandish costumes, cooking up outrageous treats, and scaring the wits out of our friends and neighbors. Halloween Food

- Chicken Breast Eyeballs — Eyeballs aren't normally appetizing, but for these peepers - made with chicken breast, parmesan cheese, olives, and other tasty ingredients - we'd make an exception.
- Crescent Mummy Dogs — While these may not be as impressive as the other recipes on the list, any variation of pigs in a blanket holds a special place in my heart. A very simple recipe for cute little Mummy Dogs.
- Jello Salad Brain — We've always been a big fan of brain food and this Jello Salad brain looks downright delicious. Provided you have a brain mold, it seems to be an incredibly easy recipe.
- Jello Blood Worms — Another recipe that's too cool for words. Using plastic straws - bendy straws work best - you can make edible Jello worms that look so much like the real thing it's kind of gross.
- Eyeball Caprese — Unlike the other recipes on this list, this one is actually pretty fancy. Caprese is a classic Italian salad that's both light and delicious. This version maintains that great flavor but adds a pretty spooky twist with a pair of eyeballs.
- Zombie Cake — Here's another one that may be a bit hard to stomach - which makes it perfect for the holiday! This bloody zombie cake is made from brownies, raspberries, and a few other simple ingredients.
- Thorax Cake — Yikes! Another incredibly realistic Halloween recipe, this one depicts some internal organs. Looks very gory, sounds very tasty.

- Carving Foam Gargoyles — Gargoyles are a pretty common sight among gothic horror and could really add a special touch to your decorations. This page will help you carve your own foam gargoyle.
- The Frankenhand Table — Everyone knows about Dr. Frankenstein and his monster. Why not recreate some of that spooky magic in your own house with this laboratory setup - complete with wiggling severed arm!

- Rising Coffin — If you've got a bit of carpentry talent under your belt, you can construct this really fantastic looking coffin that protrudes from the ground.
- Foam Guts Tutorial — This may be the easiest tutorial on the list and it results in some really nasty looking fake guts. The tutorial suggests pairing them with a skeleton but they could be used in a variety of situations.
- The Haunted Books — This is some classic horror stuff right here. This tutorial will show you how to make a row of books move in and out as if haunted by a ghost!
- Heart in a Jar — While there is Jello involved, this is very much for decoration and not intended for consumption. Plus, we don't think you'd want to eat it anyway after seeing what it looks like.
- Jack Skellington — If you need to spruce up your party, why not bring in the main character from the classic film The Nightmare Before Christmas?
- Jacob's Ladder Tutorial — Nothing says "mad scientist's laboratory" like bolts of electricity flying back and forth. And that's exactly what you'll get with this Jacob's Ladder tutorial.
- Kicking Legs Prop — While this project is fairly elaborate and requires a decent amount of skill, it's really a one-of-a-kind effect, as it produces a pair of frantically kicking legs that can be sticking out of a lawnmower, a car, or even a house!
- Possessed Mailbox — This one requires a bit of electrical knowledge, so it's not for everyone, but holy cow is it cool. A motion sensor inside of the mailbox causes it to start banging open and closed while shooting light out whenever someone walks by.
- Puking Exorcist Head — The Exorcist is possibly the most well known horror film of all time and so incorporating the film into your Halloween decorations is sure to be a hit.
- Motorized Rat Feast — We doubt we're alone when we say we can't stand rats. They give us the willies. Which is exactly why this motorized display of rats feasting on guts is such an effective Halloween prop.
- Building a Scarecrow — While Scarecrows are traditionally used to protect corn, horror media has turned them into a Halloween icon and this tutorial will show you how to make a truly terrifying figure.
- Paper Mache — Paper mache is a favorite amongst those who make crafts and these skulls are both easy to build and spooky looking.
