This is a great time to let your creativity flow and to have a lot of fun. Look through old magazines or encyclopedias for ideas about unusual characters from history or popular culture. It is also a lot of fun for couples or groups of friends to buy Halloween costumes that fit a certain theme. For example, a couple could dress up as Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty, or Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. There is no limit to the imagination with Halloween costumes.
